Single Sign On
Credly supports single sign on through a number of industry standard authentication protocols, including:
We support the Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standard, specified by IMS Global Learning Consortium. Credly is officially recognized as an LTI Conformant tool provider. See instructions for using LTI to connect Credly to the Canvas LMS.
Credly also offers Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) support to Enterprise level subscribers. SAML allows you to bring your own Identity Provider (IdP) to authenticate and register your users in Credly (known as just-in-time provisioning), removing the need for your users to remember credentials specific to Credly. To get started with a SAML integration, contact email@example.com to request details.
The Open Credit API also supports single sign-on using API-based account creation and authentication. See developer documentation for details.
Other SSO authentication methods may be available. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or with specific requests.
